<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">...that might well be true of of the early 20th century position on Nietzsche's works, however, I would argue that it is an abject failure to understand his true meaning, which had been obscured by his own sister and her affiliation with the Nazi's. Point in fact, none of those people ever seem to have read his works as a whole, and only chose the most inflammatory of his statements to support their own prejudiced worldview. Additionally, you are forgetting that Nietzsche was, at heart, a true philologist, a fact that is clearly demonstrated in his writing, and which has the unfortunate effect of leaving his words far more open to broad interpretation than I believe they were ever intended.Originally posted by AcroPeek:
